Christmas in Montana

We had a lovely, but COLD Christmas in Montana! Collin's whole family was there, so we took full family photos.

Pre-Christmas Christmas

Before we left for Montana, we celebrated our own little family Christmas to take the traditional "kids in the wrapping paper" pictures.

Super Sleeper

Tommy has slept 8.5 or 9.5 hours every night for the last 3 nights in a row!

Last night he even started some of his first cooing noises at his *one* middle of the night feeding. He was so full of smiles, it was adorable!

Now, if only I could go to bed at 7 when he does, then I could get a good stretch of uninterrupted sleep!

Tommy's first day at church

We took Tommy to church today. When we finished getting him dressed, Lydia said "baby brother costume? Missionary??" He certainly looks the part!

When we got home, the boys were quick to take off their tired and unbutton their to buttons. Like father, like son!

Happy Halloween

This year was Collin's first time ever using a stencil for a jack-o-lantern. We were pretty pleased with the results.

Lydia was Robin to Thomas's Batman!

After finding Tommy's costume, I braved the sewing machine to make Lydia's.

We were glad to have our Ward Trunk-or-Treat the day before Halloween since it was raining so hard on Halloween. We decided not to brave the weather this time with such a new baby, but Lydia still got the trick-or-treating experience the night before and had a blast! She didn't quite get down the asking "trick or treat" part, but definitely understood that everyone was passing out candy!

Newborn shoots are a lot of fun....especially when it is my own kid! The photos are the kids together are in all their unedited glory!

Lydia's First Haircut

Lydia's sweet little mullet was getting too much for me to handle. We had to call in the experts and head to Great Clips for Lydia's first official hair cut.

She was a trooper and was so excited to get her hair done that she was very cooperative. The hairdresser said that she was much more well-behaved than many of the older kids whose hair she has cut.

While very short for now, Lydia's hair is much more well-groomed and will grow out a lot cuter. She was very excited that she earned a lollipop for doing such a great job!
