Happy Birthday Collin!

The big 25...and I stunk at taking pictures! We celebrated at Andre and Ashley's when Justin, Marsha & Crew were in town for Thanksgiving.

Maya took a bath and Lydia pitched a fit until we let her join in.

Tender Mercy

Today Lydia was the delivery method for a tender mercy from Heavenly Father. It was a simple thing, but Collin and I were both not feeling very well today and wanted to take a nap to help our bodies recuperate. After church, Lydia ate a quick lunch and then went down for her nap. Collin was able to come home from church by 1 which is unusually early for him as Executive Secretary. Lydia's naps have not been longer than an hour and a half typically, so I thought we might be able to get 20 minutes in before she woke up by the time we could lie down. Our amazing child slept for a record THREE HOURS!! That gave me and Collin two hours to nap and let our bodies heal. We all woke up feeling quite a bit better!

Signing Time

Lydia has been learning in leaps and bounds! Some new signs she has mastered in the last week or so are cheese, thank you, cereal, banana, up, and nodding her head to actually mean yes! She is well on her way to communicating!

Puppies

Lydia was a little hesitant when our friend's puppies came too close, but she loved to watch them through the window. She giggled and giggled as she watched them safely through a layer of glass.

Trying to be like Mommy

Lydia is growing up too fast. She wants to wear what mom wears...all the way from necklaces to undergarments.

Lydia decided to take a rest in her cousin Norah's lap while playing at the Potter's house.
