One of the students came and sat down by me in the back of the room and asked my name. I said my name was Megan. He then asked what grade I was in as though I were a new student in his class. When I told him I was a Senior in college, he said "But you're so tiny! I thought you were in our grade!!"
Let me just make a point here. I did everything I could that morning to look like an adult. I did my hair. I did my makeup. I wore a sweater with a skirt and heels. I even wore nylons. I wore my pearl necklace. I did everything I possible could have to try and look like I could be graduating this December. Apparently it was not enough.
The next week, I ran into a friend of mine who cuts hair. I asked her if there was a haircut that could help me look older and this was the result:
I'm not sure if it will do the job entirely, but it's a start. Only time will tell. In the meantime, it sure is a lot faster for me to do my hair in the mornings!
